Who we are

A Funeral Home Built Around Understanding

Sacred Journey was created to provide families with funeral care that feels personal, professional and genuinely respectful of faith and cultural tradition.

We understand that for many families, a funeral is not simply a service at a crematorium or cemetery. It may involve prayers, family participation, ritual washing and dressing, visits to a place of worship, particular timings, customs surrounding the coffin and preparation of the person who has died, and traditions that continue after the funeral itself.

Our role is to listen first. We will then help you bring those wishes together into a dignified funeral, explaining what needs to happen and coordinating each practical detail on your behalf.

Jasse will work closely with families from the earliest stages of the funeral arrangements, taking time to understand the wishes, beliefs and traditions that are important to them.

Her approach is centred on calm, personal guidance. Families can discuss the practical arrangements as well as the smaller details that can make a farewell feel truly right for the person who has died.

Rishi works alongside Jasse in caring for families and helping ensure the arrangements are carried through with dignity and attention to detail.

As a family team, Jasse and Rishi want families to feel that the people they meet are the same people who remain involved in the care and arrangements surrounding their loved one.

For Sikh and Hindu families in particular, faith and family customs can shape every part of the funeral. Our aim is to make space for those traditions and to work with the family, Gurdwara, Mandir, priest or other faith representatives where required.
